Crop protection without pesticide!
New ecological biotechnology
for cotton, corn, tobacco, sugar-cane growing.
Patent of the Russian Federation No. 2.038.783/1992.
The proposed ecological biotechnology of crop protection is based on insect pests control using phenological (fixed physiological age) and phototropic characteristics of Noctuidae moths, that react with mass flight on the definite wave length of UV-spectrum light, generated with powerful device of light source. The treatment of plantation results in purification from insect pests. More then that, the moth flying out of the field lose the ability to lay viable eggs, which perish out of the field. The only one light device is attended by 4 men. It is possible to treat about 500 hectares of cotton fields during one night.
